IIAD Installs New Board of Directors for 2014-2015 Fiscal Year
On August 21st, 2014,
the Independent Insurance Agents of Dallas IIAD held their annual installation
of officers at the Bent Tree Country Club. Alan Hardin, CEO of CPro Associates
presided over the official oath of office. Brook Crawford, CEO of AmeriCap
Insurance Group was duly installed as President of IIAD. Over 200
industry professionals were in attendance.
As President, Mr. Crawford is
the presiding officer over the IIAD Board for the 2014-2015 fiscal year.
Mr. Crawford will lead the board as they focus on the interests of IIAD’s
members, develop sustainability strategies and continue oversight of the
board’s governance model.
Other officers installed during
the ceremony were John Losurdo of RHSB as President-Elect, Anne Sheahen of
Hotchkiss as Secretary/Treasurer, Ben Patterson of Patterson & Associates
as Immediate Past President, and Tammy Land as Executive Director of
IIAD. The 2014-2015 IIAD board for the fiscal year was also
announced. The board members are Robert Ferguson with Family Financial
Group, Von Breaux with Sleeper Sewell Insurance Services, Paul Fredette with
Legacy Texas Insurance Services, Jim Hamby with Texcap Concord Insurance Services,
Matt Orlie with Wood-Wilson Company, Adam Sammons with MHBT Inc., Bruce Sams
with Champion Commercial Insurance, Allen Sparks with Independent Insurance
Group Inc., and Bob Spurgin with Ben Spurgin Insurance Agency.
Over the next year, IIAD will
continue their focus to support the members’ interests, education, community
outreach, legislation as well as networking to build business
partnerships. Insurance Employment Services of IIAD, (IES) continues to
play an important role as the insurance recruiting arm and will continue
working to expand the impact on the professional lives of students through
InVEST.
